Your Choice of Design

We offer websites based on either template designs or unique, personalised designs.

Templates

Choose a template–based design if:

You want a cheap yet stylish presence on the web;
You require a website of no more than about 5 pages;
You need a website in a hurry — our template designs can normally be up and running within a day.

Unique Designs

Choose a unique, made–to–measure website if:

You prefer a personalised design;
You need to be able to update your website yourself;
You require features such as a photo gallery;
You require a website of more than 5 pages;
The content of your website demands substantially different layouts on different pages.

General Features

All Lab 99 websites are intended to be accessible to as wide a variety of visitors as possible. Our Accessibility section contains details of our accessibility policy.

By using the most up–to–date, efficient code, we will keep both your bandwidth costs and your visitors’ waiting times to a minimum. Our Technical section will tell you all about the boring technical stuff.

Search Engines

The price you pay will include:

The submission of your website to all the main search engines,
The incorporation of many technical features to maximise the search engines’ ranking of your website.

We are able to arrange a pay–per–click advertising account for your website, if desired.

Maintaining Your Website

Almost all websites need to be updated from time to time.

Our rate for updating websites is £20 per hour. There is no minimum charge, and in the majority of cases you will not pay more than £20. We are normally happy to make small updates, such as changing a few words here and there, free of charge. If your website requires updating at frequent intervals, this can be arranged at a reduced rate.

If you wish to update your website yourself, we are able to incorporate a content management system within the website which will allow you to do this. Please contact us for details.
