Our Web Design Prices

We offer two types of website pricing:

Fixed–price all–inclusive website packages, ideal for small businesses.
Individually–priced websites, for those who want something special.

Option 1: Fixed–Price Website Packages

A professional, good–looking, uniquely designed brochure website costs just:

£249 for up to 4 pages.
£399 for up to 10 pages.

These prices include the first year’s hosting and a domain name.

Option 2: Individually–Priced Websites

A more ambitious website project will have its own demands. Our flexible pricing policy ensures that you get all the features you want, without paying for features you don’t need. As a rough guide:

Bespoke brochure websites generally cost between £500 and £1200.
E–commerce shopping cart websites will normally cost from £1500.

Web Design Costs

The cost of a website depends largely on the time taken to create it. The price of a professional, made–to–measure website will depend on:

The complexity of the website’s structure.
The intricacy of the graphic design.
The extent of the search engine optimisation required.
The amount of editing needed by the website’s text and images.
The cost of any specialised software incorporated into the website.

Time is Money

A small, basic website may take only a day or two to create, while a large corporate site may take a couple of months or more.

The cost of a web designer’s time will vary, of course. A big agency, with expensive overheads to pay for, will probably charge over £1000 per day, while your next–door neighbour’s teenaged offspring may well do it for free.

A good, professional web designer will charge an absolute minimum of £100 per day. Many will charge three or four times that much.

How to Get a Cheap Website

If price is your main concern and you don’t mind spending some time setting up your own website, there are several products available that may be worth looking at.

You may have to put up with advertisements, the range of features will be more limited than with a made–to–measure website, and they all use template designs, so your website won’t look unique. But you will save on the cost of having someone make a website for you:

Weebly: Limited free service, otherwise about $5 per month, plus the cost of a domain name.
Wix: Free with advertisements. They are Flash websites — they look OK to humans, but are almost invisible to search engines.
Moonfruit: Flash websites with plain HTML versions, so not completely invisible to search engines. From £4 per month.
Squarespace: Better quality than the rest. From $12 per month.

Budget–Priced Websites
