Valid Websites
Lab 99 websites are constucted using HTML, which controls the structure of a web page, and CSS, which controls the layout.
All Lab 99 websites will validate as XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2, except when:
- certain types of third–party software are incorporated into the website;
- the client demands a feature incompatible with these standards;
- the website uses advanced CSS 3 features.
Validation simply means abiding by the rules and standards set out by the World Wide Web Consortium. Our Web Standards page explains the advantages of abiding by these standards.
